Kaushie Adiseshan is the Founder and Designer of Pink Elf, a company that creates contemporary women’s apparel and accessories. Her creations combine avant-garde artistry, traditional workmanship, and carefully selected fabrics of the highest quality from around the world.

Before founding Pink Elf, Kaushie designed special occasion clothing for private clients. Prior to that, she interned at Gap, Inc., where she worked on Gap and Old Navy product lines. Kaushie earned her degree in Fashion Design from FIDM, San Francisco, California and a Business Degree from Bombay, India. She has studied photography and fine art at Stanford University. Her collections were showcased at the San Francisco fashion week, August 2006 and at Lakme India fashion week March 2007. Her designs have been featured in The Daily Telegraph (London); Times of India; Bombay Times; Asian Age; Hindustan Times; DNA; Mint (Wall Street Journal); Apparel News; Sacramento Bee, Nirvana Woman; Gentry; 7x7 San Francisco; Where magazine and many other leading national and international publications.

Pink Elf is based in Palo Alto, California. Kaushie’s designs are inspired by the crowded and colorful streets of Mumbai, the sophisticated bustle of New York and the serene beauty of San Francisco. They blend the languid elegance of Hollywood’s Film Noir with the energy and vitality of Bollywood dance numbers.
